Turas fillte na gClann 2016 - The Clans are coming 2016

2016 commemorates the 400th anniversary of the passing of Aodh Mór Ó Néill, Hugh “The Great” O’Neill (1550-1616), Earl of Tír Eoghain (Tyrone) and Chieftain of Ulster.

To mark this unique occasion, The Ancient Clan O’Neill calls upon clans folk across the globe to join with us in the heart of our ancestral homeland in June 2016 to celebrate the legacy of the Great Ui Neill.

We are currently planning the content of eight days of family fun, craic, music and festivities (Saturday 18th –Saturday 25th June 2016) that will take place in and around Cookstown, Dungannon, Armagh, and South Derry, in the heart of historical O’Neill Country.   This is a unique opportunity to explore the world famous sites of O’Neill, enjoy musical concerts, sporting events and participate in historical talks and walks, re-enactments and guided tours and a lot more besides, all designed to make your visit both enjoyable and memorable.  So book the date and we will keep you posted as the program of events develops.  If there is anything that you would like included in the program, please feel free to post suggestions on this site or messages on our facebook page Ancient clan O'Neill of Tyrone.

This is the Offical web site of the O'Neills of Ulster. With the support of our kinsmen, we are coming together to form a strong Celtic community  in Ireland and across the world.
